When attempting to bait a response out of someone you sometimes get even better results.
An excerpt from a discussion today-
Will (one of the residents I work with): We should watch the movie Splash.
Me (sarcastically): Oh, okay. What's it about, volcanoes?
Will: No, it's about mermaids.
Me: Oh, well if it's about mermaids and not volcanoes why is it called Splash?
Will: You know, I don't... know.
Julia Stiles and Heath Led

10 Things I About You has both of them.
Coincidentally; 10 Things I About You is one of the greatest movies in the world.
The less I want a girlfriend, the cuter girls seem to be. No, I don't mean this as a ploy of the fates; the more I resist the harder it is. Rather, the less I care about impressing girls, and the less I focus on the things I'm saying, doing, appearing as, etc, etc, the more pretty and funny a certain girl can appear to be. Strangely, the less I fret about myself, the more available I am to appreciate women and just how wonderfully charming they can be.
Alex doesn't know and/or appreciate that the Bible, Book of Mormon, and Pearl of Great Price are all ancient scripture that has been translated into English, while the Doctrine and Covenants is modern scripture from our time that has needed no translation (into English anyway).
Some people freeze when asked their opinion on any subject. Steve (one of the residents) holds this characteristic in spades. We were playing on his wii and trying to make some miis. I handed him the wiimote and told him to create a mii. He froze in place and after 1o or so seconds of silence responded, "I can't, I'm too nervous, I don't know what to choose."
Taking Steve to Cold Stone takes all the fun out of going to Cold Stone.
The first pictures I put on my blog are of Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger.
